I need to know how to make 2 monitors work on a AcerPower 2000 small computer. The computer has built into it 1 VGA and 1 DVI port. I have connected 2 Acer displays that are identical. We had a very bad experience with this Acer AcerPower 2000. .
We have approx 60+ of these units in our office purchased in 2007. The first year of ownership, the external A/C powerpack goes bad. Out of 60, 15 of them goes bad. 25% failure. Acer warranty sends me a new one, no questions asked..
3 years later, the PC completely dies! The symptoms: No Boot, No PWR LED, No Beeps, No Posts, System Fan spinning only..
The people who leave their systems on 24/7 all the time will die with the above symptom. The people who shut off their computers at the end of the night, we still have them working. I have approx 40 units out of 60 that I had to throw away / replace.(67% failure) Its like a time bomb.. average life was 3 years.
Completely Junk! Stay away from this model / series! They updated this model to become the VL460 / VL480G, though it looks redesigned, I wouldn't buy this again.
